George Washington was the 1st President of the United States. He was born in February 22, 1732 in Virginia. He was a president from 1789 to 1799. He died in 1799, (aged 67).

Battles:
George Washington won the American Revolution War VS Britain and the most important battle in his life in Saratoga on the summer in 1777. The British John Burgoyne sent a major invasion army south from Quebec with intention of splitting off rebellious New England. Also he won some battles in Nova Jersey or VS France for example in the Apalatxes.

Presidency:
George Washington presided over the Constitutional Convetion that drafted the United States Constituiton in 1787. The Electoral College elected Washington unanimously as the first president in 1789 and again in the 1792 election. Washington reluctantly served a second term. He refused to rum for a third, establishing the customary policy of a maximum of two terms for a president.

Died:
December 12, 1799 Washington fell ill and he died at 10 pm on Saturday December 14, 1799, aged 67.
